Tara (she/her) has been a licensed Cosmetologist for almost 10 years and made the move to Lincoln from Kearney in 2021. Even though Tara is not a barber, she truly enjoys shorter haircuts, brow waxing and bobs. Her true passion lies in providing gender-affirming haircuts. Also, an open heart for those on the spectrum and non verbal individuals. A hidden gem!

Leyla (she/her) is a licensed cosmetologist, graduate from the College of Hair Design in 2024 and has a passion for blondes. With peppy personality, she is our go-to blowout queen and an ideal fit for new clients Whether it's a beautiful highlights or color corrections, Leyla takes pride in ensuring that every client leaves with beautiful hair.

Kianna (she/her) grew up in a tight-knit town in rural Nebraska. A recent graduate of the College of Hair Design, Kianna is a licensed cosmetologist and barber- achieving dual certifications. As a Level 1 stylist, she brings a strong work ethic and a hunger to learn. Kianna loves kids, enjoys long perms, clipper cuts and skin fades!

Diego (he/him) is a barbering professional who graduated from the College of Hair Design. With a strong foundation in clipper work, he specializes in precision tapers and is especially skilled at detailed skin fades. Diego enjoys blending classic barbering techniques with modern styles. His creativity, curiosity, and dedication to the craft make him a valued member of the Smith & Comb team.

Shayna (she/her) is a licensed cosmetologist and recent graduate of Entourage Beauty Academy. She enjoys performing longer haircuts, colors, highlights and perms. Shayna also offers lash lifts and brow laminations. Outside of the salon, Shayna loves baking and cooking, mostly from scratch and is a devoted cat lover.

Madi (they/them) graduated from the College of Hair Design in 2023 and has developed their skills with skin fades and taper cuts. Primarily focuses on shorter haircuts, especially gender affirming. They also offer an array of grooming services such as straight razor shaves. Madi brings a relaxed atmosphere where every client feels valued.

Jett (she/her) completed the barbering program at the College of Hair Design in 2023 and continues to sharpen her skills through hands-on experience and ongoing education in the industry. She is experienced in clean fades, detailed tapers, classic barbering cuts. Jet truly enjoys working with kids of ages and perms!

THREADING SPECIALIST

Working Saturdays only, Laila (she/her) has over 14 years of experience and is an expert in the art of brow threading. Raised in Iraq, where threading was the only hair removal method, she offers precise, long-lasting results for both men and women. Ideal for sensitive skin. Laila takes pride in helping clients shape their brows or removing any unwanted facial hair. Bilingual in Kurdish Arabic and English.
